myBeautyCache: makeup and beauty product organizer

Backup your Data

I know it takes quite a bit of time to enter your products in myBeautyCache, so I wanted to make sure you were aware of the different ways that you can backup your data.

If you are here because you are updating the app and want to keep a copy of the data on your computer, please skip down to iTunes File Sharing Instructions.

**If you have myBeautyCache Basic, or the latest verson of myBeautyCache, you can also sync data between devices. For more information, visit the Sync Data page.

Transfer Files from your Device to your Computer

**Please note, that prior to updating myBeautyCache to 5.0.0, you will have a number of files (depending on how many products you entered in the app), but after you update myBeautyCache to version 5.0.0, you will only have 3 files. So if you want to have a copy of the updated database on your computer, you will want to follow these steps again after the update as you will not be able to use the old database and files with the new version.

Transfer Files from your Computer to your Device

IMPORTANT: If you do not see the products in the app after transferring them (following the steps above), you will need to completely close/exit the app. To close the app, double-click the "Home" button to see your most recently used apps. Then swipe right or left to find the myBeautyCache app. Once you find the app, swipe up on the app's preview to close the app. When you open the app again, your products will be there.

WARNING: do not attempt to edit or modify the database files on your computer; doing so could cause serious issues and corrupt the data.

QUESTIONS: If you have any questions, please contact me so I can help. In the app, go to the "App Info & Support" section and select "Email Developer" or if you're in the process of updating the app, scroll down to the bottom of the "Update Page" and select "Email Developer"
